2006-2007 OKLAHOMA HUNTING SEASONS DATES

DEER SEASON: The archery deer season runs from Oct 1 through Jan 15.
The muzzle loading firearms season opens on the fourth Saturday in October
and runs for nine days. The deer gun season opens the Saturday before Thanksgiving
and runs for 16 days.

ARCHERY: Oct. 1 - 2006 -Jan. 15, 2007 ( Jan. 1-15, 2007, Antlerless only )
MUZZLELOADING FIREARMS: Oct. 28 - Nov. 5, 2006 (Antlerless days vary by zone)
GUN: Nov. 18 - Dec. 3, 2006 (Antlerless days vary by zone)
YOUTH ANTLERLESS DEER GUN: Oct 20-22, 2006
SPECIAL ANTLERLESS SEASON: Dec. 22-24 & Dec. 29-31 (Open only in certain zones).

DOVE: Sept. 1, 2006 - Oct. 30, 2006

CROW: Oct. 10 - Nov. 16, 2006 and Dec. 9, 2006 - Mar. 4, 2007; statewide

RABBIT: Cottontail & Swamp Oct. 1, 2006 - Mar. 15, 2007
Jackrabbit Oct. 1, 2006 - Mar. 15, 2007 (west of I-35 only); no open season on
jackrabbits east of I-35

WILD TURKEY:
Spring 2006: April 6- May 6, 2006; Statewide
Fall 2006: Gun: Nov. 4-17; open only in select counties.
Archery: Oct 1, 2006 - Jan. 15, 2007
Spring 2007: April 6- May 6, 2007; Statewide
Special Youth Turkey Season: March 31- April 1, 2007

QUAIL: Nov. 11, 2006 - Feb. 15, 2007; statewide

PHEASANT: Only designated areas Dec. 1, 2006 - Jan. 31, 2007
SQUIRREL: May 15, 2006 - Jan. 31, 2007

COMMON SNIPE: Oct. 1, 2006- Jan. 15, 2007

$65/day for RV Travel Trailers 25-29ft long
$85/day for RV Travel Trailers 30ft and larger
$135/day for Motor homes

$85 for Large Travel Trailer units
